Internet connectivity is essential to the operation of your enterprise. Pivot Consultants, having analyzed how your business uses the Internet and well as how much Internet traffic your business can expect, will help you determine the correct “pipeline” to the outside world. Depending on your needs, we can deploy a simple Cable Modem or DSL connection or, if your enterprise expects a high volume of Internet traffic, we may recommend the deployment of a T1 or 'leased line'.

Installation Service Overview
Prior to the commencement of any work, the details of the engagement will be clearly specified in a Project Plan agreed-upon and signed by both a Pivot Consultant and an authorized member of you staff. As always, our goal is to keep your business up-and-running during any Pivot deployment. As such, our Consultants will always place the moment-to-moment needs of your daily operations ahead of the itemized steps necessary to a network deployment.
Delivery, Installation and Configuration Details:
- Cable Installation
Enhanced Cat5e cabling will be neatly installed in the locations specified in the Project Plan.
- Hardware Delivery & Installation
All hardware will be delivered, unboxed, and set up in the locations agreed-to in the Project Plan. All packaging/waste will be removed from your office and recycled.
- Hardware Configuration and Testing
All hardware will be tested and configured to the manufacturers specification in preparation for software installation.
- Software Delivery, Installation and Testing
All specified software will be delivered, installed, and tested in accordance with the publisher’s / manufacturer’s specifications.
- Internet Access Configuration
We will work with your existing ISP and any other third party to provide a continuous service for Internet Access, Email and other IP services.
- Training
We will provide 4 hours on site training, which can be used individually or in a group. We will also provide all employees with a training guide and PowerPoint presentation.
- Security
We will provide your IT infrastructure with industry-leading Antivirus and spyware removal software, all the firewall protection you will ever need, as well as well as issue username and passwords to your users upon deployment of a Pivot Networks system.
- Backup Procedures
We will perform a complete backup of the entire installation and setup your company with an automatic backup system for the office with instructions on its use.
